IE problem: not showing internalm scrolling controls

Hi folks:

I'm having a problem with IE: it's not showing a set of arrows which are used to scroll an internal window.

The page works fine in Firefox, Chrome & Opera (last two with menu style blemish).

Click on any of the 6-line figures at right and you get text at left to scroll with the arrows: hover to scroll, press to scroll faster.

I've tried IE's Developer Tools, but not making much headway.

It's also possible that it's my IE: I keep getting a message that it's running "without add-ons", but in fact all the available add-ons are enabled. If you find it's working in IE, let me know.

cheers
