I have a .vbs script that creates a directory on a networked drive. As long as the user can "see" the networked drive, it works fine.
There is a web page that is hosted on an outside web server that is *not* publicly accessible. This web server cannot see our network drive, so it can not run the .vbs script.
Is there a way to create a link on the outside web page to the .vbs script to run it? I also need to pass a variable to the .vbs script which contains the directory name to create.
I have a web page that will do this, only when it is hosted locally. It no longer works when uploaded to the outside web server.
If a link form the web page to the .vbs script is not possible, and link to a .html file existing locally on the user's hard drive, that would in turn link to the .vbs script would also be okay. I've looked at .hta files, Jquery, etc. but cannot figure out a way to do this.
