|Example.com/widget VS. Example.com/widget.htm|
Using Expression Web
| 3:16 am on Jan 15, 2014 (gmt 0)|
I have created a page in Expression web and named the page widget
Expression Web appends .htm onto the end of it so that in order to visit the page you would need to type example.com/widget.htm
How do I fix it so that you could visit the page by typing only example.com/widget ?

You can use the .htaccess file.
There are some instructions here: alexcican.com/post/how-to-remove-php-html-htm-extensions-with-htaccess/
(no association w/ site, found it by Googling)
But why do you want to do this?

The reason I want to do that is so that the URL would be easier for visitors to type in and remember.
