| Problem with Expression Web

Short version - laptop died, copied web files to new laptop, installed Expression Web. When trying to open any of the webs on file, get error message:
"Server Error: The server extensions were unable to access the file C:\....\web_site_name\_vit_pvt\service.lck* Please check the file permissions."
However, I am having no problems opening and editing the webs live on the server using Expression Web.
Any ideas?

Problem solved. Apparently the file got corrupted some how.
