Having a menu at the top of website
Using Frontpage

Msg#: 4329075 posted 11:50 pm on Jun 21, 2011 (gmt 0)

I have inherited our school website about 6 months ago. I am trying to redesign the website to look more professional and modern by adding a menu bar at the top.

Our school website currently looks like this....
And I am trying to make it look a little more like this (at least the menu bar part of it)....

I know the second website used an online template when setting up the site but I have had no such luck. I am very new at Frontpage and coding. If you have any suggestions please let me know.

Have you tried using Wordpress in the "pages" mode?
Download Wordpress http://wordpress.org/ [wordpress.org], follow up their 5-minutes installation guide. Search for a nice Wordpress template you like and follow its instructions to install it.
Set up your pages by entering the content throuogh Wordpress admin.

And before you do all this, take a backup copy of your current web site.
