Dreamweaver CS4: How to transfer linked images
Linked images not being put

 12:21 pm on Mar 7, 2011 (gmt 0)

I have a small edited image that appears on a page, and I link it to a larger version of the same image to open in a new window or tab, should a visitor want to see more detail. How do I get Dreamweaver to put the larger image along with everything else on that page?

Even when I tell it to put supporting files, it skips the larger images that are linked from that page. Have I missed a setting, or is there some way other than doing it manually for each image?

Is the link javascript?

No javascript, straight HTML link. I have to go into the files section and manually put those larger images on the server.

Are you talking about linking the actual image or uploading the large version of the image to the web server?

Uploading the larger version to the server, it just won't do it, and it's a pain in the neck if there a multiple images linked in this manner.

What are you using to upload the site?

Have you tried an independant FTP software like FileZilla instead of using DW itself to upload?
