I have been using TextPad now for website development for as long as I can remember, however since changing to Vista and getting all the necessary updates, I have noticed a rather strange thing. If I highlight an area to copy/paste/delete, every so often I get a remnant left over from the original selection, and the only way to get rid of it is if I envelope it in another highlighted area. Irritating. But not off putting. Just wondered if anyone else has this issue? Cheers, MRb

As I said it' not intrusive, just irritating, completely random. Cheers, MRb

Love TextPad for building content, but use screwdrivers for prying up paintcan lids, shotguns for communication with politicians, and Filezilla for FTP. Admittedly, I don't do much incremental updating of files in large folders: if I did, CMS would be more important.

I have been using textpad for ages now - before then I was on dreamweaver - but I got fed up of it's high memory useage and crappy "I know better than you" UI. FTP: I use the cmd line stuff from dos for easy stuff & fireFtp for large multi-directory content. Cheers, MRb
