What does this error mean?
When applying dreamweaver templates

 9:14 am on Dec 2, 2008 (gmt 0)

Hi all

I have recently become responsible for a large site that uses dreamweaver templates in places. This week I've been asked to make some minor changes that require a change in the template. When I updated the pages however 4 out of 5 failed to update. Now everytime I try updating from this template I recieve this error message:

Template File
<file directory/name.dwt> is nested inside itself (directly or indirectly).

Assume I know nothing about templates! What could cause this error?

I can paste in the code if it'll help.

It looks like you have a duplicate set of template tags - take a look through the page where the templates are applied, and locate the <!-- DW template --> tags.

You may have to manually edit the tags in a text editor to sort the issue.
