Dreamweaver Annoyance
Viewing Head Content

 6:46 am on Aug 13, 2008 (gmt 0)

I constantly seem to be clicking on the top menu to "View > Head content" in Dreamweaver and I find it to be a pain. Does anyone know of any way to have this turned on by default? I.e, is there an option to open a new page with "View > Head Content" selected by default when the new page is opened.

When you do this you can select the icons for the head content items on a menu and display this content in the properties window. This makes it easier when working on lots of page titles and descriptions.

In my version, DW8, it does just that (if you open a page and click View Head Content, then even if you close the page and computer and start again, all new documents and previous pages are opened with the Head Content panel visible).

I just tested it for you, BeeDeeDubbleU, although I agree with others about Split View being easier for designers...
