Client remote editing of webpages.

 3:32 am on Oct 23, 2007 (gmt 0)

I'm trying to figure out how to allow clients to edit text on webpages I have created for them on my webserver without giving them access to too much. I am running an Apache webserver with php and mysql but have basic knowledge on configuring them. Is there an editing program anyone can suggest for this scenario? Thanks.

It sounds like a content management system is what you need. You might check out contentseed.com to see if that would suit your needs

Something I have just started using for this type of thing is Blogger... if you have it set to be a .php extention and publish to the webspace you can include sitewide header/footer type files.. and for them to add updates or whatever it is as simple as them logging into a blogger account.. pretty easy peazy.. and free..
