I am using Dreamweaver 8 and have a strange issue with my templates.

If I create normal links with my template, when I apply them to my pages, all links put the targetin the /template/* directory. I've read about this and heard that in order to fix this, I need to put special code in my template:

<a href="@@('link')@@>link text></a>

I read that this is specific to this version of Dreamweaver and is a change from MX.

While this worked for my <a href> links, it screws up my CSS in the template. It looks fine in any page to which the template is applied however it does not apply the CSS code to the template so I have to apply it to a page to view the results.

How can I fix this?

Thanks.
