Editing style sheets

 5:37 pm on Aug 18, 2007 (gmt 0)

I've been trying to transition from Front Page to Expression Web. I'm happy that most of the functions have a familiar feel, but there's one thing that just doesn't seem like it's working right.

When I'm editing a page with an attached style sheet, and I drag the handles on an item in the Design pane, the style element is added to that item's HTML tag and not changed in the attached style sheet.

It takes quite a bit of time to cut and paste the css values from the HTML page to the style sheet, I just can't imagine that this is how it's supposed to work.

Any suggestions?

I have not tried this yet but under Tools - page Editor options and then the CSS tab, did you make sure everything is set to classes?

I could not really follow you unfortunately on the layout you provided, but hopefully the page editor options will help
