| Need code to email webpage like addthis does?

This may be a JS thing but thought I'd start here. I'd like to have a few social icons on top of my site (just like addthis) but use simple links instead of the slow JS. Addthis and etc slow down my site. So the only thing I need that I can't find is how do I send the title and link of a webpage like addthis does? Thanks!

Ya this seems to be a JS thing. JavaScript mailto function seems to getting me some promising results.

Yeah HTML itself doesn't *do* anything, it's just a markup language based on dead tree typesetting systems.
