How do i go about controlling these i have googled but had no luck , I would like a tickbox on the page to say accept or refuse that is the easy bit but how do i then set about actually controlling the setting of the cookies from there PS the site is entirely HTML5 now apart from a few archive pages Thanks pete .

The Hit counter counts the number of hits on the site and sets a cookie that is short lived so that the same IP hitting the site several times is only noted as a single hit .
