Page inside of DIV, either close, refresh, or redirect parent page

Hello everyone...

So I have a page called dashboard.php, it has a jQuery script that reloads the page every 5 seconds... (The reason for this is so that it can query the database to check for a particular result) ... If during one of these page reloads, the query of the database returns a result, it shuts off the page reload function...

At the same time as it shuts off the page reload function, it starts a new jQuery function that pulls a timer.php page inside of a DIV, and refreshes the Interval for that DIV, every 1 second... (It's a timer count down clock) ... The clock starts at 10 minutes... What I need to happen is, when the timer clock reaches 0, (besides all of the other things that I have set to happen), I need it to either, refresh, close, or redirect the dashboard.php page...

Can anyone help me out with this problem?
