Hi, Absolute newbie with front ends here..

My backgroundL Database programmer/admin ..

My question was.. can I invoke html pages from DOS/CMD as a response page?

As in.. suppose I want to include a comment section on my website ( at the feedback section at the end of the page -- DIsqus or some other API) and if someone decides to send in automated responses from their cmd prompt.. and manipulate the page comments.. can it be done? Can it be stopped?

Hope I could convey my requirements..

welcome to WebmasterWorld, Foal_11!

you can do things to set the conditions for a valid request such as requiring a HTTP POST request and you can do some things to make it harder to spoof a valid request such as requiring a cookie.

this might have some useful information...
