What is the correct HTML5 element to use for an excerpt? |

Hi all,
I would have thought this is a really common issue, but can't find an answer to this question.
I've thought of using <article><summary>Excerpt here</summary></article> but I'm really not sure if this is correct.
What are your thoughts on this?
