page randomly chooses to display in IE8
html and css validate but page sometimes chooses to load, sometimes doesnt

my site validates for xhtml 1.0 transitional and for css, yet has a weird effect on IE8...

sometimes the page displays fine, sometimes, only the header displays and sometimes half the page displays?

refreshing often provides a different outcome?

I get the following error:

Can anyone shed any light on this for me?

Some script on your webpage is trying to modify the 'parent container element before the child element is closed'.

The simplest solution in this case would be to wait for the DOM to reach the 'ready' state and then let your scripts to run.

ahh, looks like it could be the javascript, so if i put the code to the bottom of the page that should sort it hopefully?

It depends on what the script does, but yes, that very well might resolve the issue you're having.
