Hey all,

I've come across a java applet which I want embed into a webpage, but there was no demo and no instructions for embedding it. It consists of a single jar file (named Captor.jar), and no class file. I've never dealt with just a jar file before, and I can't get it working. I've tried many different things using this kind of HTML:

<applet code=Captor.jar name=Captor archive=Captor.jar width=300 height=300>
</applet>

Can someone please explain to me how to embed this into a webpage?

Thanks!

UPDATE:

I just figured out that .jar files can be unzipped. Here's what I got when I unzipped it:

Captor.class
Captor.java
ImageFrame.class
ImageFrame.java
META-INF (folder)/MANIFEST.MF

Now I have a class file to work with, but I still haven't been able to get the HTML right. Am I even supposed to decompress the jar file? Or what? It seems like a simple thing to do, but oddly I can't find any simple, clear, step-by-step tutorials on how to do this, so I'm lost. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
