|A Downing Street petition is calling for the UK government to drop Microsoft's Internet Explorer 6 (IE6) and move to a more modern browser. |
The petition says that IE6 has security flaws and uses outdated technology, creating a burden for developers.
The petition is open to British citizens and residents only.

Let's hope they don't go to IE7, (or even IE8) as each will be the "next IE6" in succession as the previous version of IE finally dies for decades to come ...
Still, if they at least would get off of IE6, that would be a start.
