I'm trying to figure out how to force IE7 to render in standards mode.

Below works for IE8...

<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=8" />

This was a necessary step to force IE8 to render application/xml in standards mode (along with the not-a-doctype HTML5 "doctype" to resolve the W3C bot issue).

Oh and I'm well aware of conditional comments so I can take care of doing standards mode for both IE7 and IE8...I just haven't figured out the correct string (and no just using '7' did not work). I can't seem to actually find anything on 7 specifically.
