AOL explorer seems to act like IE and a Javascript .appName returns: Microsoft Internet Explorer and .appVersion returns: version 4. I keep AOL updated but I've kept IE at 6.0. I tried upgrading IE once but it took over everything and I couldn't use FF.
For the past few months I've just assumed AOL will render pages similar enough to Patches 7 (IE) for testing so I can keep Patches 6 also for testing. 75% of my visitors are on IE with an increasing share going to IE7 close now to half.
