I have a client that's using this product that creates animated, talking characters that can interact with each other.

It's Basically kinda cool - but anyway, they are inserted into web page code using iframes and I've never heard of them before.

Anyone out there care to shorten my learning curve on this one?

[w3schools.com...]

W3Schools is a great resource for getting up to speed on standard web code that is nevertheless new to you.

Futher to this thread, I wanted to know the behaviour of Search engine crawlers/robots towards iframes. I had an impression that we should avoid use of iframes if we want a higher ranking.

Candid, you may be right but I sure can't prove it. Seems like a method of site design that has mixed reviews - it's the only way I know of to do SOME THINGS yet on the other hand it has it's negative too.

Like every other thing we do these days - you have to weigh the positives against the negatives ... on a case-by-case-basis.
