Adobe Launches Public Beta of Photoshop CS6 [macworld.com]
For the first time in seven years, Adobe has released a beta version of its flagship image editor in advance of a formal product release. Photoshop CS6 beta is now available as a free download from Adobe Labs in English and Japanese. The commercial release will follow fairly soon—sometime within the first half of this year.

I've always wanted to edit video within Photoshop. This is a welcome addition!

My son and daughter are both graphics design grads sent them the links for them to have some fun with. I sure wish I had the time to get into this area they make it look easy but when I give it a go man it is far from it. Watched the youtube video looks like they have great additions to 6.

Yes, Photoshop does have a bit of a learning curve. I've actually started skipping every other version not only to give my wallet a rest, but also to give my brain a rest from learning new PS features.

I've found Russell Brown's video tutorials a good starting point to learn some of the finer points of photoshop use.
