| Embeded swf file doesn't play

Hi,
I've been trying to embed an swf file into my site using Dreamweaver. Whilst in Dreamweaver I've been using the Ctrl + Alt + F shortcut and then selecting the swf file. It appears in the design mode and I can choose to play it yet when I upload it to the web nothing seems to happen... any ideas?

Can you post the code you are using to embed the file?
