Profiles identical, but images render differently Images with same color look differently side by side /w identical profiles kingoslo msg:4033502 12:04 pm on Nov 29, 2009 (gmt 0) Hello,
I have a case where i use several images for the background.
Each image contain the same gradient, however, they seem to render differently in only Firefox. The strange thing is that they all are same sRGB color profile.
Please see this image:

Questions-->> What are the file types and if, what kind of transparency is applied to them? And when you say you have several images for the background, how are you going about doing that? CSS/div background? Sorry but since the links are not allowed you will have to explain it out. kingoslo msg:4034062 3:28 pm on Nov 30, 2009 (gmt 0)
I fixed it just hours ago :) No idea what the problem was. All I did was to save it again in photoshop function called Save for Web and devices, and it looked the same as the other images.
Its strange because they were both sRGB previous to this. Any ideas?

The only thing I can think of is that maybe the previous versions of the images were not all "Save For Web"? Did you just do a "Save As" the first time? If so you have no control over the optimizing part.
