Creating Website Graphics
How do I create good website graphics?

 4:13 pm on Dec 21, 2008 (gmt 0)

Hi I'm still a bit new to these forums. I have been designing websites for some years now and personally i think I'm getting good at it. I'm really good at the programming side of it but would really like to be able to create good graphics and backgrounds for the websites i make. Things such as curved edges on boxes or great looking backgrounds. Could anyone suggest any free programs to do this. Ive tried The Gimp but i don't really think it suits making these sorts of graphics. Thanks for anyone's help in advance :D.

If you are really serious about this, you should invest in the proper tools. I know many people will offer up free tools as examples, but every designer worth their salt will be using Photoshop or a similar paid for product.
