Make a dotted border around an element in Photoshop?

I would like to make a dotted border around an element in Photoshop; however, I cant seem to find the function.

There's no border function as such.

What are you trying to achieve? Could it be something you could do with CSS?

trying to make coupon; with perforated edge style

Just dots: 100% hard brush, Spacing: increase until dots separate. Paint with brush - hold Shift to paint in straight lines.

Perforations:

Search Google for: photoshop tutorial postage stamp etc.

I've seen many of these.

I haven't tried it, but I believe you can use the line tool and make it a dotted line... I'm not 100% on that though - but could save you time over the individual dot method.
