animated gifs and the IE bounce

Hi all,

I have another irritating IE issue that I'm wondering if others have experienced or know of a fix for or even an explanation.

I have animated gifs running on webpage.
In Firefox and Safari, Mac and PC they look fine. On IE 6 and 7, when the image transitions, it has a little bounce to it. Seems to be an IE exclusive. Any insights?

thanks.

got it!
Operator error! Grrrr....
I had made the gifs bigger than I should have in the first place and in resizing them in the code, it was causing what i described.
