Hi all i was wondering if anyone could tell me how or at least point me in the right direction for making a rollover ad. I have seen them before when you roll your mouse over them they expand in to a larger ad. and you close it by clicking the x. and if anyone could tell me what they are really called that would be great. I don't think they are called rollover ads. and I do have the full cs3 collection and i know i can make them using that but i just don't know what program to use or really where to start at. any help would be great.

Thanks all in advance

Sorry for the second post

I would also like to see if anyone knows how to do like the rollover videos. when you rollover say a text link a window opens and a video starts playing, i am sure the rollover ads and the videos go hand and hand. sorry for sounding like such a newbee

Thanks for the help

Hi Brianji,

Sounds like you are talking about Contextual Advertising [en.wikipedia.org]?

Javascript and Ajax are going to be a starting point I would imagine. Flash maybe for video content and CSS for styling. You basically load the add in a div that appears above other page content.

Good luck.
