I'm trying to finish the last details of my site before I open and I was wondering if I could get some advice on the graphics. If any of you who are good with Photoshop and web graphics in general could help you would save me from my current enormous headache.
The site is here:
There are several things about the site that I am unhappy with for one reason or another. I'm excellent with a computer and good at programming so any instructions or suggestions you guys could give would sure go a long way. I'm just not a very artistic person and my websites often lack pleasing visual stimuli. Here is what I'm unhappy with my current site:
1. ) The background -- it's too boring. I'm not sure what to do with it. It seems like I'm using enough blue on the page already or something.
2. ) The color scheme -- it feels like it's missing something.
3. ) The "Home", "My Account", "[etc]" menu on the left -- it seems too plain.
4. ) The paragraph on the bottom with the pink bed and the pile of sheets.
If I could get some advice or suggestions I would be extremely grateful. Thanks!
