Got Your Favicon?
IE 7 seems to be better at finding/retaining them

I recently installed Internet Explorer 7 and, after a week or two of use, observed that the highly erratic handling of favicons in the past seems to have been improved somewhat.

This change has called to my attention those of my sites that don't have a favicon, so I'm scrambling to rectify that in a few cases.

Have you been diligent with your favicons? I think it's a nifty marketing tool that doesn't cost a thing, but on some sites I let it slide. No more...

Jolly good

I wondered if support would be any better - always created them as a matter of course - as I am a FF user - now reassuring to know the extra work will be worth it for the others

I have to admit that I overlooked favicons at time simply because IE seemed to display so few of them. Now, though, they really seem to pop out.
