Live video streaming
Advice required on implementing live video on website

I am planning to build a website which require live video streaming. We need windows media player to show the live video on the web page. We tried using the shoutcast server from nullsoft using NSV technology, but the problem we had is that, it will be streaming only to Winamp and cannot be loaded on Windows Media Player.

Can anyone advice us whether we can implement the same technology with Windows Media Player support? If it is not possible, it will be highly appreciable if any one can guide us on to other technologies.

Thanks in advance and anticipating an early response to this request.

Thanks & Regards

Welcome to WebmasterWorld mathewsx.

Microsoft Windows Server 2003 has the Windows Media Services 9 Series [microsoft.com] which is probably closer to what you're looking for.
