Introducing "plus.google.com" or "Google Plus" as they call it...
Is it a rehashed Google Buzz? Google Circles? Does the "plus sign" mean "+1" ?

The funny thing is Google advanced search uses the "+" (plus sign) to indicate--
"By attaching a + immediately before a word (remember, don't add a space after the +), you are telling Google to match that word precisely as you typed it. Putting double quotes around a single word will do the same thing.

Now that Google is going into the Socal Networking business, does that leave an opening for a new purely search Search Engine?
