I saw a post from 2006; actually I just need a confirmation, does this stuff not work 'cause I have no valid SOAP API only an AJAX API key?
I'm also using nusoap library with the same PHP code from here:

You are going to need a SOAP API ID in order to use their services. I'm pretty sure they aren't giving them out anymore. Looks like you are going to have to find another way around what you want to do.
