| Could Google Toolbar improve on the Alexa Reporting

msg:3364891 | 12:31 am on Jun 12, 2007 (gmt 0) | I was looking around for competitor intelligence reports and came up with only Alexa, which is much maligned by the majority of webmaster's posts that i've read. [ personally, i find it can be indicative, coupled with "webmaster / market instinct" ]. But could Google surpass Alexa with more accurate results, and would that be a good idea?

I can't see the company that has such a stranglehold on search giving others valuable competitive information.
