I have recently heard about the concept of Pay Per Call introduced by Google. Sadly, I failed to find any good resource to learn the subject in depth. Can you please help me out?

You're likely thinking about Google Click to Call. This is their beta of a pay per call service. From my tests, and what I'm hearing, there's not much volume on Click to Call yet.
