AFAIK, grey was a ban and white was what new pages got till they acquired some IBLs.

But, I have one site that was a PR5 (homepage) and is now showing white for the homepage though Yahoo still shows 800+ sites linking to it. The site never did get any large volume of Google traffic so I'm not really worried if Google has a problem with it but I can't see what's wrong with the site and was wondering if white is the new grey. Anyone?

My impression is:

Grey used to indicate an unindexed page.

White an indexed page before PR has been assigned.

I haven't seen Grey for some time, and I believe White now also covers an unindexed page.
