I don't use it to search. I instead use it to see how poorly my websites are ranked :(

I have the toolbar and I noticed recently that even with it disabled (not uninstalled) that if a domain name does not resolve when typed into my IE6 browser it redirects to a google search for that domain. I also have Google accelerator installed but not active. Is this something new? iPo

I use mine to search. It's just handy. I also use the search this site function a lot. When I am looking for something on a long page I put what I am looking for in the search box then use the highlighter to highlight the key phrase or words. It really helps when you are researching a topic.
