Ads for products look terrible

 2:51 pm on Aug 21, 2012 (gmt 0)

Anyone noticing just how badly most product ads are displaying if the ad actually displays from google search.

They generally show up in groups of three and maybe have 20-25 characters which is awful.

They used to have more text and now they chop it to this and expect us to pay for it? Google really needs to re-think this type of display... we're getting tons of bounces from it now.

So now you pay you get less? Sounds about right for Google these days :( High bounce rates = $$$$ for Google?

High bounce rates are right. Without a full descriptive title and description snippet people are clicking all over the place and back. Sad really. In our industry the products we sell are very specific to what they are for. The short titles don't give potential customers enough information to make informed clicks. :(

Which of course you are now paying for? I can't see this little pay boost lasting long for Google...

The "boost" obviously wasn't enough because they're showing lower quarterly earnings which all but tanked their stock.... it went WAY down.
