| Multi Client Account for multiple domains

I've been submitting products to Google for many, many years. I've started a second store selling different types of items under a different domain name. Should I request a Multi Client Account so I can upload products under both domains? My products have excellent rankings currently and I'm worried that a multi-client account will disrupt those rankings since the length of time I've been uploading is almost definitely a factor in their rankings and Google says:
"Please be aware that if you request a multi-client account your current Google Merchant Center account will become a sub-account in your new multi-client account."

I'd just keep them separate to avoid any chance of there being friction. It's too sensitive and important of an account to make any unnecessary changes to.
