Well today I got the notice in my Google Checkout interface my account is suspended. I signed up the day it was announced what 2-3 years ago. Spotless record 5 stars average not one problem ever. No chargebacks, no disputes, no nuntin at all.
The only thing that has happened last week was we had several very large 2k in size orders that were declined most likely fraud and then right behind that a 1 k order that was good.
The 1 k order is good no doubt and it hasn't been processed because we didn't have the amount in stock so we ordered it. Now what can't process the 1k order and I have the stuff coming.
Planning on calling him back and try to explain to him what has happened and process the order through our merchant account.
I had a support email from google checkout from a year or so ago I saved and sent them an email asking what's going on. Just plain frustrating when your a good business never an issue get banned just don't understand. No email from google checkout nothing at all.
Just plain frustrating. Google checkout hasn't been a big performer but heck it gives a customer another way to pay so this is why I got it.
I am in the process of adding checkout by Amazon but wonder if all the work I am doing is worth it.
I have found the issue buried in about 100 google alerts I found a email from yesterday from googlecheckout that we had some banned products on the site and wanted them disabled through checkout. Products in question are far from being banned but the point is I missed the warning.
It seems I am talking to myself here but I just wanted to post an update on my suspension.
I replied to the warning email explaining I had missed it no excuses, and asked if I complied with the request and fixed the issue could I get a 2nd chance. I told them I had been with Google since the beginning great record etc and etc.
Got a reply that if I did fix the issue my account would be reviewed and reinstated if the issue had been fixed.
