Is there any best way to rank in Golgle Base What is the most effective way to rank in Google Base Searches? seomum msg:3953899 7:58 pm on Jul 16, 2009 (gmt 0) Am still not sure which factors effect the most towards ranking in Google Base.
1. Selling/buyer ratings
2. Optimized titles(which contain keywords)
3. Optimized Description(which contain keywords)
4. Low or high price?
5. Valid UPC no.?
7. Proper Categorization or Custom categorization?
8. Or using any other kind of custom attributes with keywords contain values :)
Hope this thread will cover most of the doubts of me and as well as others.

I don't think there is any combination of factors which gurantees top placements and if someone found out the secret sauce I doubt they would be posting in public. Marcia msg:3953956 10:13 pm on Jul 16, 2009 (gmt 0)
How about examining sites that the products are showing from? avalon37 msg:3957404 4:32 pm on Jul 22, 2009 (gmt 0)
I've read on multiple occasions that review data is very much a part of rankings; especially for internet retailer sites. I have never done a full analysis on my products to see if the ones that rank higher (and more often) have more reviews. seomum msg:3957456 5:48 pm on Jul 22, 2009 (gmt 0)
Yes, even i assume that, if the site has more reviews and competitive price...chances are..products from that site..would rank higher..even if titles are not optimized well
