|Google Base item URL|
problem with Item URL in Google Base
| 7:01 am on Sep 28, 2006 (gmt 0)|
I m new to google base. My problem is that in search result of my product when I click to result link it goes to [base.google.com...] rather goes to index page of main website.
[base.google.com...] is the item URL of the product. Can I change this URL with my site URL?
Plz anyone can help in this topic?

I am new too, but I found that if you bulk upload you can put your url in under 'link' and it uses it as the item url. I don't know how to do it when you individually add an item or try to edit it.

Thanks a lot AboutReflexology, I think I should try bulk upload...

I have a similar problem.
In the control panel, one of my items has a correct title, but it is linked to an old url that I ditched. I can't find a way to change it to the new url.
I guess I have to delete the item and start over?

That's what I did. I deleted it and then readded it, and now the title url says google.base bla bla instead of my website url.
So it seems that if you added some pages to googlebase after it first started (which I did just to check it out) then the title name is your website url.
So now I just added 2 more test pages and they are both the google.base url
