destination url or display url? the destination url (after redirect) should be on the same domain as the display url.

Currently our destination url is http://www.example.com. Is it a TOS of violation if we set-up a mod rewrite redirect in htaccess to https://www.example.com for this destination url? I don't feel like waiting days for a review if we change the add with the new url.

http://support.google.com/adwordspolicy/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=175906 [support.google.com]: | The domain of your display URL must match the domain of your landing page URL (after any redirects). |
| in your case it appears the display url is http://www.example.com and the destination url is https://www.example.com/ same domain...

URL for root page of site ends with a trailing slash. Be sure to add it.

"The domain of your display URL must match the domain of your landing page URL (after any redirects)." I wonder if framing is ok? Eg I display lemons.com, I redirect to oranges.com but the url at the top still shows lemons.com?

don't do that, it won't end well.

It's the functional equivalent of a rewrite. No matter how you slice it, you're showing one thing on the page and a different thing in the address bar. :: wondering if the OP ever got a full answer, since that question was not about domain (example.com) but about protocol (http vs. https) ::

the OP was answered in the 2nd and 4th posts. the answer to snoopy1122's post is - no framing like that is not ok. the destination url has a different domain than the display url.
