Will Adwords pixel fire in this scenario? rfung msg:4209193 4:35 am on Sep 30, 2010 (gmt 0) Say I have a campaign in adwords. User clicks, comes to the site. Bookmarks it, closes the browser. Then comes back again and finally performs the action where the pixel is(submitting a form). Will adwords know and track the conversion in this situation?

Yes. The code looks for the existance of a cookie on the browser that is associated to your AdWords account. As long as the same browser is being used, the cookies have not been deleted, and less than 31 days have passed (it's a 30 day cookie) then it will count as a conversion in AdWords. Please note, Google analytics will disagree and associate the conversion to direct traffic. Here's how those two systems attribute stats: AdWords conversion = last ad copy, URL, keyword, placement, etc clicked. Google Analytics = last entrance to website.
