|Is google adwords OK with redirect URLs?|
| 9:58 pm on Aug 12, 2010 (gmt 0)|
I have an adwords campaing and my domain name is - somethingdomain.com. I have created a 301 redirect from another domain name mykeywords.com to somethingdomain.com.
I changed the display URL to mykeywords.com and I left the actual URL somethingdomain.com.
As far as I know this is OK with google, however my campaign was disapproved and the reason was Invalid URL.
Any ideas why?

If you show mykeywords.com as the display URL, that's the domain you must reach as the final destination when clicking your ad. So what you did is not OK. Your display URL must be somethingdomain.com

As Lucid says, AdWords handles redirects fine within the same domain but not to another domain.
If you try directing an ad to www.domain/directory/specficurl
And AdWords cant find /specificurl, they may just land your ad on www.domain/directory
