I need some clarification as to what is allowed in terms of email submits and pop overs. In light of adwords bans and slaps, are advertisers allowed to:
1) Use email services such as aweber, etc. to capture email addresses on adwords LP? Although aweber takes the user to another site if they sign up by design, is this considered something that could cause a slap? Does google expect us to run our own internal email marketing system, or does google not want us to collect emails on landing pages at all? I seem to get mixed signals on this, and I dont want to get a slap/ban based on not understanding what the rules are.
2) The rules for pop ups are straightforward, however I am still not clear on pop overs which dont open a new window, are they allowed? I have received contradicting advice from adwords support regarding this issue. Again, these are pop overs that open up on the LP after a certain amount of time, but dont open a new browser window.
