Avoiding Double-Serving with 2 Adwords Accounts
Any solutions?

Our adwords account has hit the limit for how many campaigns we can have. (100)

We've been told by google that we can't raise the limit and we must add another adwords account via MCC. I can easily see our two accounts having overlapping keywords for things such as brand-marketing vs. product category-marketing. We have no interest in breaking google's policy of double-serving, are there automated ways of of ensuring double-serving does not occur?

Also, if we were to break the double-serving policy by error, what are the ramifications? how long would it take to be back to normal?

Google should be able to link your accounts so that you do not double serve. The only ramifications you should experience is them not displaying one of the ads. Unless you repeatedly break the rules you should be fine. Talk to a Google rep.

Are your ads all for the same domain? If so there won't be a problem - G will only show the highest ranking ad for any one domain for a keyword (i.e. even if you have 10 accounts advertising on some keyword only one of the ads will be shown if they are all advertising the same domain). If you have multiple domains it's trickier, so you'd need to give some more info
