You should probably go into the Google Search forum and ask there. [webmasterworld.com...] I'd also try another browser. 3.5 has issues.

Ok, I saw a post from the Google WMC account on twitter - apparently you're not the only one having the problem, they suggest you clear your cookies.

I don't want to clear my Cookies - that means I will have to re-load all of my forum passwords etc ! NetMeg I Took your advice and tired another browser I have IE6. And it worked all OK. So it must be a Firefox 3.5 thing and I only upgraded to it a week or so ago.

It's not just Firefox - I'm having the same issue with Chrome.

Well unfortunately, all Google will tell you is to unload your cookies and/or cache - that's always the first answer. I don't like it either. But I got nothing else.

You don't have to dump all of your cookies. Here's what you can do in FF. 1) get to the error page. 2) go to page info (tools menu, or right-click menu, or CTRL/CMD+I), and choose the security tab. 3) view cookies. 4) select the google pages, remove those cookies. That worked for me.

| Great jd-fp! That worked perfectly, thanks a lot. I did not want to clear all of my other cookies, as its a pain loading up passwords again.
